Hamam Oriental Suites is a fully renovated complex of 5 four stars suites in the heart of the Historical Center of Rethymnon, on one of the main streets in the Old Town, Nikiforou Foka Street or “Makri Steno” (Long Alley), at number 86, very close to the church of “Our Lady of Angels”.
It combines Eastern and Western elements since it was built by the Ottomans on the remains of a Venetian building. The hotel is located near one of the most important Fortresses in Crete (the “Fortezza”), among notable monuments of the Renaissance Old Town which gives a cosmopolitan character to the town, and not far from the “Blue Flag” award-winning beaches. It combines Venetian architecture of the 16th century and the architectural style of the Istanbul baths. It has been the first public hammam of the town and was operating until the beginning of the 20th century.
In our hotel you will have relaxing moments in the hot tubs of suites 1,3 &4 , in the hammam of suite 2 or the sauna of suite 5
LIVING ROOM
The living room is organized in the spacious lobby of 55sqm surface. It is equipped with chairs and tables, all designed and manufactured specially for our hotel with Arabic lamps and oriental style characteristics.
CAFE – SNACK BAR
The cafe – snack bar offers to our guests and also passers-by coffee, tea, juices, oriental sweets, spoon sweets and snacks. This area has a big satellite television.
BAR
Located in the lobby area, the bar has 16sqm surface and is bounded by an imposing stone arch. It is illuminated from the roof. You can enjoy your drink in the large bar counter.
STORE
Located on the road left of the hotel entrance, the store has 14sqm surface. It functions as handicrafts exhibition (ceramics, brass etc.).
